Copyright and content complaints

Last updated: 2 June 2026

1. Overview

NoteTime is a personal note-taking tool. Notes are private by default, and users may choose to share an individual note using an unlisted link. If content shared through NoteTime infringes your copyright or other rights, is unlawful, or is harmful, you can ask us to review and remove it using the steps below.

2. Copyright complaints

If you own, or are authorised to act for the owner of, content you believe is being shared on NoteTime without permission, email support@notetime.ai with the subject line "Copyright complaint" and include:

  • a description of the work or material you say is infringed;
  • the NoteTime sharing link (URL) where it appears;
  • a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the rights holder, an agent, or the law;
  • a statement that the information in your complaint is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them; and
  • your name and contact details.

3. Unlawful or harmful content

To report content shared on NoteTime that is unlawful, abusive, or otherwise harmful, email support@notetime.ai with the sharing link and a short description of the problem.

4. What happens next

We review valid reports as soon as reasonably practicable. Where appropriate or required, we remove or disable access to the content, disable the relevant sharing link, and contact the account holder. We prioritise serious matters — including child sexual abuse material, image-based abuse, and credible threats — for same-day action, and we act on formal removal notices from regulators (such as the eSafety Commissioner) within the time the law requires.

5. Repeat and serious breaches

We may suspend or close accounts that repeatedly or seriously share infringing, unlawful, or harmful content, consistent with our Terms of Service.

6. Mistakes and counter-claims

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, contact us at support@notetime.ai and explain why you have the right to share it. Submitting false or misleading complaints may itself carry legal consequences.
